Not sure if this should be in another section, so mods please feel free to move.
Anyway Maisy is a very thirsty little pup. So much so that she will even wake up and wander out to the kitchen in a trance to have a drink of water and then wander back into the lounge to fall back to sleep....!
She is on dry food and i was wandering if this could/should be mixed with a little warm water?

If she is on dry food then she will need a constant supply of water. I add water to my puppies dried just to soften it for little teeth but they still drink loads :luv:
-
They do drink a lot when on dry food - quite normal, in fact essential.

Thanks. Good to know it isn't just her.
She has a constantly topped up supply of water, most of which is dribbled all over the floor on her way from her bowl to the lounge, or her bowl to the garden! :005:

There is nothing wrong with adding a little warm water to their kibble, and if she ever shows signs of being bored of it then its a good idea as it releases the smell more for them.

Willlow is 8 months now and I always soak her food, I always save a good ten bits at the end for her to crunch on though as its good for their teeth.

Don't worry - Toby's on dried food (hot water added) and drinks like a fish!!
-
Both my boys are on dry food and they do drink a lot.
-
Same here, dry food, water mad Toby! Drinks loads

Yep, Clover is on dry food and has always drunk a lot, too, even when I used to dampen the kibble for her when she was smaller. I'd be more worried if she didn't drink much, I think!
