Just introducing myself. We had a show cocker for 13 years, dear old chap, who has recently gone to sniffy heaven, so we are starting the process of getting a pup again - a working strain this time. Looking forward to learning about a slightly different dog, training him and picking up some tips.

Welcome to CoL. I'm sorry to hear about your loss - it's so hard when they leave us. Good luck in your search for a new baby. I've had a working cocker and now I have a show type. Both adorable and so far I don't see much difference in energy levels, but Penny is still only seven months! I'm in Argyllshire.

Another one in Perthshire here......there are getting quite a few of us now, great!
I have a working springer and show cockers. Good luck with the new puppy, although it is hard after losing an oldie. :-\
