Yes, I haven't used it myself but I know it's a highly regarded product used by several COL members who will probably post themselves.

This is a link to the web site. I believe it is Canadian ( although I could be wrong )  but it is available in the UK

I used it for a while with excellent results but it had not long been bout in the UK and at the time I had problems getting a reliable supply so I changed.

Only reason I haven't gone back to it is price tbh

My dog trainer gave us a sample and it's really high quality but Maike didn't care for it at all. The price put me off, too - it's important not to feed them rubbish but she doesn't need higher quality food than us.

Tried it with my boys for a while, they liked it, but it made them a bit 'loose' and they had very smelly bottoms!!  ph34r  Changed them back to Burns after that.

I feed Orijen to my 2. Prior to that I fed Eukaneuba, Burns and Barking Heads but, they were fussy with these brands and their coats weren't as good as they are now.  They however love the Orijen.  Id heard it can cause loose motions so i changed them over very slowly.

Re cost - the large bag (13.5kg) I pay £55. This currently lasts Blossom and Ziggy 45 days, which works out to 61p each per day (they eat 300g per day between them).   Burns used to cost me £45 for a 15kg bag but, they used to have 360g/day, which worked out to 54p each per day.    When I fed Burns, I also had to supplement with Naturediet  or similar to get them to eat it, which I have not factored into the cost.    So, assuming my calculations are correct at this time of night, Orijen  isn't really costing us that much more and they now eat their kibble  :D

I do have to make sure I order in plenty of time as I get ours from Zooplus or Pet Planet at the moment - free delivery x

I have just started Dexter on Orijen this morning!  He has been on Eukanuba all the time but he doesn't seem too excited by it unless there is some chicken or pilchards in it!  :o

He is not a great eater and the Orijen mixed in this morning with his Eukanuba seemed to perk up his interest!  I am introducing it very slowly though!

You can get a trial size pack of 400g from www.orijenpetfoods.co.uk

It costs £3.29 plus delivery so £5.86 in total.  I just purchased that to see how he gets on!

thanks for your replies ive just been on there site and purchased a couple of trial bags to try him on, Tbh i dont mind the cost as long as he eats it the amount of dog food i throw away is such a waste so id pay a higher price if he liked it. it sounds like all the ingredients are really top notch! he will have a higher quality tea than my son gets!! whoops!  :005:

We tried Orijen and Jarv had foul breath on it - changed to Barking Heads Fuss Pot and he loves it (and no halitosis  :lol2: )

Bingley is on Orijen. He came home on Eukanuba and we changed him over very slowly.

He LOVES it. The other day my mother in law put Eukanuba in his bowl instead of Orijen and he wouldn't touch it at all. His stools are much smaller and compact and not loose. He will happily eat it plain (like Dexter he was a chicken/pilchard fiend!) and seems to really enjoy it.

It is more expensive but like others have said it lasts ages because they don't need to eat so much of it.
