Preparing for my course and was going to order some bits and pieces but came across this. Think I might be a bit of a wimp but it looks a bit brutal to me?

It really isn't brutal if the hair is ready to come out - our dogs often doze off while I'm hand stripping and are completely relaxed about it (doubt they would do that if they were in any discomfort)

It was the scissoring that looked scary to me. She obviously knows what she's doing. Am hoping the course will give me the confidance. Terrified of cutting nails.

The only bit of Roly that I strip is the bit in front of his nose and he doesn't seem to mind at all (makes me wish I'd done the rest of him rather than clip)

Have ordered my bits and pieces. Bought Simpsons scissors. Will they be alright? There were alot costing alot more but want to make sure I'm going to do it all 1st. If they're a cheap waste of time please tell me and I'll cancel my order

Hi Karen
I have seen her clips before, and cannot work out how to scissor around the face with that confidence! I too am hoping the course will cover this sort of thing!

I'm sure the Simpsons scissors are fine for what you want - I've bought quite a few of their own brand items so far and all have been good quality for the price. You can always invest in more expensive scissors later ;)
