I'm Dan and a couple of weeks ago we purchased our first cocker puppy, a beautiful show type orange roan we called Poppy. Poppy was from a local breeder and comes from some of the best Australian and imported (UK) bloodlines, maybe a decendant of someone on here. I found the forum while searching for groomimg tips and tips on using a coat king and have already learnt alot.

I'll post up a few pics of our beautiful girl in the puppy section.

I'm owned by Maisie, a little two and a bit year old cocker girly who loves rolling in fox poo. She's done it again this morning >:(, and just had the second bath of the week :lol2:

Poppy's sire is from Worlewood and Lindridge lines, her mother is from Macdolly here in Australia.

Welcome to COL! Good to see another Aussie!! Just had a look at your profile .... Darlington .... am guessing it's somewhere in Sydney? I'm from Sydney and am owned by Lady ... she's my nearly 15 yr old orange roan princess!

I'm Emma and have two show type Cocker's too (Chip, who is chocolate and 2 and a half years old and Woody, who is an orange roan and 18 months old.

We also have a little Bichon Frise, Casper who is 3 so it's pretty hectic in our house!!

Anyways, enjoy your gorgeous Poppy and listen to what people have to say on here. COL is a wonderful field of great advice and people!

Look forward to seeing more pics of Poppy as she grows up.

I'm Barbara and I have 2 dark-blue roans - Alice who is 9 now and is a Princess :luv: and Louis who is almost 3 and is a hooligan :005: Louis' Maternal Grandad is Worlewood Ain't No Sunshine (Orange Roan) and he also has lots of Lindridge in his pedigree on both sides, so I guess he is in some way related to Poppy :D
