Just curious is there a Cocker on here that won't roll in fox poop? My Archie thinks his purpose in his doggy life is to hunt out fox poo and roll in it! getting fed up of cleaning it of him, it has been three days in a roll now Grrrrr.
Is your cocker into fox poop too?
-
Oh yes, fox poo, horse poo, cow pats, dead moles - in fact anything that downright stinks >:(
-
I really don't want to tempt fate here but Darcy age 2 has never rolled in anything, :luv: Hattie on the other hand loves to roll in and eat anything smelly. :005:
-
Luckily for us Willow had never rolled in anything nasty :005: She has eaten nasty things in the past though :005:
-
Bella's 5yrs and will roll in dead things, got to say a dead seal has been the worst to date :020:
Mollys 1yr and never rolled in anything
And (touch wood) i have never come across fox poo and don't know what it smells like.
-
Livies only ever rolled about twice that I can think of & she's 5 1/2 :dunno: ....but more than makes up for dirtiness it in the digging department :fear2:
Purdey & Tinker are experts & never miss an oportunity to have a jolly good roll :013:
Toby's still under assessment :shades: ........but paws crossed, he doesn't seem to interested at the moment :lol2:
-
all of mine have been rollers but its usually dead seal ,dolphin, dogfish, seagull, but they will roll in fox or badger poop if they can or bird poop or sheep poop , i will stop the list now before i get depressed :005: :005: :005:
-
Anything smelly Flo will roll in it, haven't come across fox poo, but I'm sure she would be delighted to cover herself in the smell. ;)
-
I'd never had a dog that had rolled before.......until Maisie came along. Believe me, she makes up for all the fox poo rolling that my others never did >:( :005:
-
Yep I've got one - not one roll and he's nearly 4! :luv: Whereas my first Cocker would roll in everything - the worst being - WARNING, do not read if you are having your breakfast!
human - not ideal, especially as a Pub lunch was planned for post walk!
-
My cockers are rather fond of the fox poo finest L'eau de toilette. My Cavalier just looks on in utter disgust. She is far too ladylike
-
Alfie, Jo Jo & Nina all love a good roll :005:
Georgia though has never rolled in anything smelly :shades: she is only 21 mths though, so perhaps she will grow into it :-\ :005:
-
I have 2 fox poo rollers as well :005: mind you Albie will roll in anything and prefers it to be as old and stinky as possible >:D
-
So far Lily hasn't rolled in anything but Kiara loves to so I don't think it'll be long ph34r
I did tell her breeder that if she starts to then I'm sending her back so maybe she heard :005: :rofl1:
-
I've had 2 rollers (Sam and now Louis), 1 eater (Josh, anything from dead things to fox poo and human poo :020:) and William, who has never rolled in anything and eats nothing worse than horse and cow poo.

Ditto Coda is also 2 and has never (fingers crossed here) rolled in anything ph34r
Personally I think its just because she thinks of herself as a bit of a princess :005: :005:

Never had a roller before Archie but he is already an expert. I'm just recovering from giving him yet another bath this morning. He surpassed himself today. I think there may be a giant fox on the loose outside Exeter because he came back covered from head to tail! It was literally dripping off him :020:

Oh how very lucky.
Our last spaniel, Katie was a bit of a roller - not all the time.
Charlie hasn't dared to yet (10month old today)

Pippa likes to roll on dead things - a crow, a mouse, a pheasant, a slug - but not poo of any sort, thankfully.
Barney (not a cocker) rolls in dead things and particularly strong smelling poo of any origin. He also rolled in rotting food that someone had chucked out in a carrier bag the other day and the smell was worse than anything previously encountered. It lingered on long after his bath and long after Barney himself had been sent to share his love (and odour) with his Nanna :005:

My two are little :angel:s - although the Norty labrador has taught them that jumping in puddles / ponds / streams is fun >:D

Yep I have a mud magnet too. The muddier the better
-
No the only thing that selby rolls in is the snow :luv: hope I a, not tempting fate ;)
-
I have 2 rollers buy thankfully they have never been tempted by fox poo.
Phoebe's speciality is dead flat frog, which luckily doesn't leave a mess on her.
When Bronte rolls it seems to just be a smell because there is never anything on the floor when she gets up and nothing is ever stuck to her, she will also roll on dead flat frog like her mother.
-
Following Nerys' visit to the groomer today, she was beautiful and smelled gorgeous - till our afternoon walk where she dived head first into a lovely fresh cow pat :005:
-
Indi loves to roll in cat poo and dead things :o Kody has never rolled in anything. Dropped the dogs off my pet sitter Indi took 5 seconds to find a cat poo so instead of a cup of tea I had Indi by the collar (also had poo on it) next to the garden tap and wads of paper towel and then hand wash to clean her up before going into house wonderful way to say hello >:(
-
Molly the labrador loves nothing more than in fox poop (horse poop is for eating though apparently!), I don't think Daisy's encountered any so far, & the boys piddle on it! Barkley has been know to roll in bird poop though (Roly piddles on that too!).
-
Ruby has turned into a poo snob :lol2:
She used to be partial to a roll in fox poo but avoids it now but any other type of poo is fair game :005:
We haven't had the pleasure of a cow pat yet,she hasn't ever met one.
-
badger/fox/bird is definitely rolling material - cat/sheep/cow apparently is dinner...... >:( yuk!
-
Jess will roll in absolutely anything that is dead - today's speciality was dead frog. Nice and dry, fortunately. Could have been a whole lot worse.
She isn't interested in jumping in water though - quite a good thing, considering the amount of time we spend on our narrowboat.
-
Cosmo found a partularly choice, wet and smelly fox poop this morning, happily rolling over and over before we coud stop him. I think it was too 'special' even for him though cause when we got home he raced upstairs ond sat by the bath until we showered him! :005: Maybe he'll think twice next time - although I doubt it!

Couple of rollers here - dead animal only if it's particularly pongy and rotting. If it's REALLY old/dry/flat it gets eaten :o que Sasha with a mummified rabbit skin the other day >:D
They roll in fox poo (which, fortunately for me, I can't really smell ph34r) and bird poo - cat & horse poo is for eating >:(
And very happy that Tiffany doesn't eat dog poo anymore :D
