the groomers I take Charlie to, no longer does hand stripping. I'm just riveting can anyone recommend a good groomers who hand strips? I'm located in Newcastle but i don't mind travelling so long as its not hours away. He was due for his hair cut in 2 weeks, and he's struggling with the heat now :(. Does anyone know anywhere locally?

I Havent been yet to the groomers but Riley is booked in for late June to get a tidy up.
Im pretty sure she does handstripping , not sure if its for any dog but it says on the website that she handstrips dogs.

Its a worry isnt it, Im now more scared that Riley will be cut too short than I am with my own hair :005:
Hubby said he will go along too and make sure she knows want he wants. Cant beleive what he is like with Riley, :luv:

Please check very carefully exactly what services any groomer advertises.
Before I found Morgan's lovely groomer I phoned round practically every groomer in our local phonebook. Some of them who advertised handstripping then said they'd stopped doing it as it was too time-consuming, other excuses were that cockers can't be handstripped ( :shades: ) nobody who owns a cocker gets them handstripped and so they only do clipping now ( :-\ ) and I found out that one of them handstrips terriers and thought all handstripping was the same!

I did phone one with a nice hand stripped cavalier king charles on the site. Phoned them, yes we do hand stripping, but not on cocker spaniels grr
