Title: grooming supplies

i was in pet world today and got a few things for the new puppy but i dont know if this will be enough i got a slicker brusha a metal tooth comb and a flea comb is this alright to start of with???

slicker brushes are good, but make sure that you have the ones with the little white bits at the end as they can be quite sharp without them.  Can't remember what they're called.

We started off with just a soft bristle puppy brush. Took Bingley a while to get used to grooming, personally I think it would have been more of a struggle with anything too 'hard' like metal tooth combs. The soft bristle brush eased him into it and he got used to the sensation and 'procedure'  :005: of being groomed in a gentle way. We then got a soft pin slicker brush and went from there.

the slicker i got is a rubber one and is quite soft and i will get a soft bristle brush next time  :D
