Tali has taken to climbing things in the garden. One place he wants to climb is the tree to chase the squirrel. Nothing many of you haven't experienced before I guess.
This evening as he got up from sleep it appeared his back legs gave way and bum hit the floor. I panicked thinking everything from HD to cancer in a millisecond. However, when he went for a wee the obvious limping was definitely from the front paw.
To make matters worse it was late and Thames Water turned up to unblock our drains which made alot of noise and have flashing lights, etc.
When OH came in from dealing with the drain guy I told him about the front paw. He immediately tried to gently check the paw and Tali went ballistic. No skin broken and no blood drawn but it seems one toe is particularly sore. He did climb the stairs but limped to bed.
He is spark out with me in the spare room tonight, we felt it best. I will see if he requires emergency treatment tomorrow but if not I shall pop him to Anna on Monday and get a dose of Rymadil.
It must be incredibly painful for him to turn like that.
Could Tali have some COL force please for it to be nothing serious?

Hopefully it's nothing serious, I wonder if he has damaged a nail? Plosives thought coming your way.
-
Fingers crossed its something simple and Tali is heaps better this morning :)
-
Everything crossed here that it's nothing serious, could it be a wasp sting? Wouldn't do any harm to give him a antihistamine?
-

....how is this morning? :shades:

More positive thoughts here, Ruben damaged a nail and was limping with it before the damage became apparent. Hope it is something simple and he is better this morning xx

Fingers and paws crossed for Tali that there is nothing seriously wrong and he is back to normal and pain free very soon. :luv:

He limped a bit this morning but normal services seems to have resumed with the exciting display of chase the squirrel all around the garden. He is going to have that squirrel before long!
I shall see how he is later. Of course he has only been living with OH for 3 weeks and he did warn OH not to touch his paw :005:
Fingers crossed that this is the end of it. Thank you for all your good wishes x
