Delilah has always been a bit of a paw licker and I've never really given it much thought until recently. She's seems to be doing it more often and makes her paw and leg really wet - even woke me last night doing it.
I'm going to take her to the vet to make sure there isn't an underlying reason for her doing it - I had a quick google and it seems to commonly be linked to allergies, but I haven't changed her food recently and as she's laid up with her back she hasn't been out of the house to come into contact with anything new either.
Any of you experienced this with your dogs?

Has she been on meds for her back?
Jennie is a paw licker, it's decreased since being raw fed, but occasionally she will have a paw licking moment after a long drink
Not much help, sorry :-\

William has anal gland problems because his are in the wrong place :005: (various vets have described them as being too high, too far in and floating) which means that regardless of what he eats his anal glands need emptying every few months because they can't empty naturally. One of the symptoms he has when they're getting to the stage of needing emptying is that he licks his paws quite a lot. Could that be the cause of it with Delilah?

Thanks Elaine - I'm seeing a friend tonite who is good at emptying them, I'll ask her to have a look.
She's on metacam kellyt, but I don't recall her licking this bad when she's been on it before.
Something I read on the Internet mentioned stress - and the thought that she might be stressed is stressing me!!! Blimmin Internet !! >:(
