This afternoon I was giving Mia a little love on the floor and just gently stroking her belly :luv: when I came across a small hard lump just a little lower than her ribs. It isn't red or hot I can't see any puncture marks but it does look like it might have bled at some point as it looks like there is some dried blood near the lump :-\ how the hell I haven't seen it before god only knows, Mia isn't bothered by it but I'am. I will try get her to the vets tmr, you don't think it could be a grass seed do you ??? x x x

Perhaps it is where a tick has embedded? :-\

do you think it may have gorged and then fell off ???

Don't worry yourself daft Di, I'm sure it's nothing serious. Keep us informed what the vet says. xxx

That's what your description of it sounds like. If that's what it is it may take a week or two to disappear but it will go eventually.

Yes it is possible Di :shades: Mia might have accidentally squashed it as it fell out, hence the blood too :-\

Horrible beasties. Luis had one above his eye Dianne...and it was quite a size. Luckily came out without any ill effect.
Fingers crossed you'll get it sorted for your gorgeos girlie. Xxx
