Title: More tablets?

Just wondered if it would be safe to give Harvey another worming tablet (he had a Milbemax on 1st Oct). He is scooting a bit and keeps trying to reach his back end. He's had his anal glands emptied (the vet said they weren't really that full). We are going away for a week and leaving him with a dog minder, so want him to be comfortable. However, if its not worms I don't want to give him unneccessary medication.

As he was wormed on 1st October I doubt if worms are the problem. When were his anal glands emptied? William needs to have his done every so often and he's always itchy and scoots a bit for a few days afterwards :005:

They were done last Friday Elaine, maybe it is the after effects as you say. Thanks  :D

Just for info, it could possibly be a slight infection from when they were emptied. This happened to my old cocker once, she just had to have a short course of antibiotics?

COuld be Millipede, I'll keep an eye on him. Oh, I never knew that Cockers could be so complicated (or its probably more to do with me fussing over him to much haha)
