Flea shampoo
« on: December 31, 2012, 04:40:31 PM »
Hello!

Found a single flea on Mollie over a week ago and put advocate on her and washed all her bedding at 60 deg.  Haven't seen any since then until last night when I found again, a single flea this time on her bedding.  I have boil washed all bedding and my 'throw' which is in my lounge which she sits upon.  Should I shampoo Mollie?  If so, recommendations for a good shampoo please?

Thank you.

As you found another flea on Molly one week after using Advocate you might be wise to buy a spray to treat the house. I think the flea you found yesterday probably hatched somewhere in the house (not on Molly) since you treated her with Advocate, unless she's been in contact with another dog with fleas and it's hopped onto her from the other dog.

Thank you.  I've been reading other posts and a lot seem to have mentioned Indorex to use in the house.

Can anyone recommend a flea shampoo or are they all much the same?

Thanks very much.
