Coming home from our walk today I saw a lady & husband with about 15 poodles of various sizes. Because I know that Minstrel would want to go and say hello to each & all, I decided for safety's sake to cross the road. All was going well, and as we approached them on the other side I got out his treat rattle box to keep his attention - or so I thought, but lady decides to cross on to our side at the same time, I just walked on muttering to myself and praising poochy. I know the woman has every right to cross wherever she pleases - but it did seem a bit odd she should wait till we were almost level.
I can only assume she didn't realise why I had crossed in the first place.
