Watson is a very itchy boy, constantly nibbling his paws and scratching. We tried Apoquel and everything cleared up very quickly, but it is not something that can be used long term. It is not seasonal as he is the same all year round.
I have tried loads of shampoos, supplements etc, and am now going down the exclusion diet route. As he was fed raw, it is difficult to find a novel protein as he had such a wide variety on raw.
We tried the insect protein food and didn't get on with it, and we are about 3 weeks into the ostrich diet, but he is still itchy. :'(
Wondering what to try next. Thinking of a white fish diet or something crazy like kangaroo.
Has anyone experience of different foods that have helped with itchy skin and ears??
