Billy's still limping :(
« on: July 25, 2007, 10:16:13 PM »
Billy had to go back to the vets today, he's still limping  the vet said he could do x-rays but feels that atm it would be a waste of time coz he suspects it wouldn't show up anything, he manipulated his leg and foot and felt it all over and can't find any problems, so he suspects its growing pains *fingers crossed thats all it is* he's not given Billy anymore painkillers though incase it blocks out any pain he might have. So i have to keep a close eye on him and see if he licks anywhere, winges at all etc just to give us anymore clues as to what could be the cause. The next step will be x-rays but i really hope it doesn't come to that  :-\

Anyway he has to take it easy and isn't allowed any walks which is sooo difficult coz Alfie keeps playing with him  and billy does laps of the garden and house quite often. So i got the crate back out incase he needs some time to calm down

Soon as i carried the crate into the house, Alfie had a mad moment through excitment and then this happened...

He looks happy wagging his fluffy tail!!  I thought I could tell which leg it was then thought it was a different one - so maybe it is growing pains - have you noticed any changes with the weather?  I was just wondering if he is worse when it is damp?  I hope you find the cause of it soon, but its nice to see his little bum wiggling  :luv:
