Hi Victoria .. the material is very thick and is waterproof  ...so its really easy to keep clean    I normally put them a quilt in the bottom to make it cosy , but if its wet I just lay a thick towel in there and you can easily take the towel out and give it a wipe over.

They also like the mesh bit at the top, that they can see through,  so that they can be back seat drivers too

Thank you Sue.  That sounds ideal for two dogs.  I am so sick of having to take the cage in and out of the car!
