It's not a simple matter...
Basically there's no simple conclusion - the random nature of the vomiting means that it could be any number of things, so we need to eliminate them one by one.
Probably the most outstanding issue is that Bertie is nearly always sick in the early hours of the morning, and that the vomit is quite substantial. His last feed of the day is 5pm so, as has been mentioned earlier on this thread, he should have digested his food within 4-5 hours. This points to a "motility issue", ie. that his stomach isn't contracting properly and moving his food through the system.
However this is only one of a great number of possibilities. His current vomiting pattern isn't the same as past problems, he's vomiting during the day this time. So basically he's got a mild antibiotic this time, and the next time he has his bout of night time vomiting there will have to be further tests.
Just have to wait and see I guess.
