Pooing after a meal - how long?

Joe is 5 months now and has been on BARF for 4 weeks or so. His poos are a much better consistency than before, but he still goes several times a day! What's the average digestion time (i.e. how long should it take for a meal to be pooed out)? He is still on 3 meals a day - do you think that feeding twice a day would help "regulate" him?

It depends on the dog - I guess you will just have to watch Joe and have a timer in your hand    Since Coco has been on BARF she does 2 small poos a day - one first thing usually before her breakfast and one in the middle of the day.  She is fed twice a day at about 8am and 6pm so I guess the answer to your question is about 5 hours in the day and about 14 hours overnight    I switched her onto 2 meals a day at 6 months so obviously that regulated the pooing schedule a bit too
