Well, we've just got back from visiting Sparky
He's absolutely gorgeous, really friendly and cuddly - but sadly not for us
He met our two and although they seemed to get on really well, I think they're just too boisterous for him at his time of life. It was heartbreaking to leave him but I'm trying to convince myself that it's in his best interest
.
The good news is that the lady said a few other people are interested in him, so hopefully he'll find a lovely, quiet home soon. He's also in a special 'oldies' room at the Rescue, which was reassuring - I was dreading the thought of him being in a kennel on his own. It was set out more like a comfy living room - complete with a TV! - and he shares it with another oldie.
I'm really sad that we can't help him but hopefully he won't be there for too long
