Haha, just thought I'd post this story,
I was out walking Marlee along "the river", where we often go for walks. And soon from the other end of the beach this black (rather chubby) Cocker comes into view. Of course both dogs run to each other and start playing (running around and chasseing each other). After a few a minutes or so of walking towards each other, we and the blacks owner meet. We say hello etc, and she carries on her way.
At this stage the dogs are taking no notice of their owners. I call Marlee and after a while he comes, but his new friend follows, lol. The owner calls out "Marlee!" and I'm like "what?! No way!". Apparently her dog was called Marlee also. I THINK. It could have been "Harley", but still, close enough.
Anyway, she calls her dog, and they both run to her, I call Marlee and they both run to me! We do this a few times over, trying to get our dogs to come with us.
At this stage we (the owners) are quite far away from each other, and our dogs are now in the middle of us, not knowing what to do - so what do they decide? Just to carry on playing with each other!

Anyway, as we both walk away in different directions, our dogs - IN THE END - both follow their own owners, lol.
It was funny in a way, I mean you have to laugh about it now, but at the time, it was very frustrating, lol.
I was wondering if anyone else has has a similar experience?
We've met lots of "Bailey's" on walks, but as our Bailey doesn't move (well very rarely, if he's feeling brave) two feet from us, it's not a problem, lol.
