yes, the idea is it tightens as she pulls and when she stops pulling it loosens, think she learnt quite quickly. :luv:

I read bad things about gencons, and the canny collar somewhere but don't use them and as far as the dogmatic goes I don't like the way the neck strap connects, I found it very fiddly.
I use Dog alters from Kumfi now which have a padded and adjustable nose band and a quick fix clasp on the neck band.
see them here.

Do you have to use a kombi collar with the halter? it looks quite harsh to me and restrictive.

No, I just use the head collar which is no more restrictive than the halti or the dogmatic

The muzzle diameter is adjustable so no it does not ride up in my experience and yes you could use a halti link I guess. :D

I've looked at different sources of DogAlters, and they all say different measurements for different sizes. Ollie's muzzle is 10.5". On one site, that would be a medium. On the kumfi site, it's a small. Which one do I get?

I have smalls for mine and there is plenty of room, you certainly will not need a medium. :D
