Don't get me wrong, mine have to 'sit' and 'wait' nicely too with no whining noise.

They don't ever get left overs from plates, but they do have a sunday dinner instead of a meal when I do one - no potato though.  They also have carrot for their teeth, and a few meaty dog treats when we leave the house - that's their routine for knowing when we're going out, and they know it :shades:

I just think they're in our lives for such a short time, and so long as what you give them is healthy and you reduce food accordingly, then I let mine have a little something nicer that dog food, that's all ;)
Mummy loves her angels - but they're not angels all the time - They love to chew and charge about - but mummy doesn't mind

She did get an ice cream on holiday

OH is fanatical about teeth, he regularly cleans and de-plaques Ellies, so she is not allowed anything with sugar in it, with the exception of when we are out walking and go near a shop in a village in the Peak District.  The lady there sells delicious ice cream and keeps broken cones for dogs, so Ellie has one of these with a smearing of ice cream in it.

Otherwise, as long as it doesn't have sugar in it, she more or less has a taste of most things we have.

I try not to give Molly anything other than her food but...she does get carrots as a treat after her walk...and if we have had gravy she gets to lick my plate (bet that's put you off eating at my house) and of course she climbs into the dishwasher to lick the cutlery....
...and grandad (my dad) always gives her half a biscuit at their house  ::)
The reason dogs have so many friends is because they wag their tails instead of their tongues.

Mason gets dry dog food for breakfast, raw meats with fruit & veg for lunch & tea (he especially loves apples, carrots & celery. Raw egg 2 or 3 times a week to chase around the garden and dog treats for training.

Another meanie here too.   ph34r  Dog food for dinner and a bonio for bed, twice a week they get a pigs ear and Jazmin gets hot dog sausage or tuna bread for training.  Wouldn't say they are particularly hard done to though.   ;)
