Help!!
Need a bit of advice, don't know why but when I trained Indie she was trained to always walk on my left side, think its just something thats generally done with dogs. Trouble is I now have Neuropathy in my left arm and its quite weak, for holding things in

I am having to try and train Indie to walk on my right hand side and its proving really difficult for both of us to grasp

She remembers for a bit then when she stops for a sniff she forgets and crosses over to the left, nearly tripping me up in the process

I really don't know how to begin training her to do this, cos to me it seems I am working cack handed too. It could be a long time before I get my arm up and running properly again as I am more than likely going to be having surgery, so I really need to master this before then.
Any advice would be great, Indie is 6 now, so its undoing 6 years of walking on the left, not an easy task

Also its really hard for me too, cos I keep forgetting and hold her lead in my left arm, after scooping poop or don't realise I am doing it till she pulls a bit

ETA: Not sure if I should have put this in general, sorry mods
