same thing happened when Jarv was a puppy except it was 'knee him in the chest' followed by the moron actually doing that  >:( >:D

Of course it worked as Jarvis jumped straight back up at the ...... (insert swear word of choice in the dots) fortunately the person offering this advice was as slow and inept as his brain and he didn't 'connect' too much.

I was kind of livid  >:D

What an idiot, I'd like to give him a knee where it hurts and see how he likes it!

And I'm guessing it would not be his nose?? :011:  ;)

That really really annoys me, what gives people the right to interfere?

You should have thrown something to make Duggie accidently muck up his immaculate attire!! :005:

Silly man, who does he think he is? ::) Once on a walk Ozzy got over excited and started squealing on lead & a man shouted across "try a water pistol, that'll shut it up!" >:(

idiot  ::)

Next time someone does that, just calmly say that your interpersonal skills coach had told to that next time anyone criticises your training methods you should punch them in the face, that way they will learn not to jump to conclusions and not to advocate bullying!!  >:(  :005:

What a total tosser he is Fiona ::)

This reminded me of a woman I met while out training Caoimhe about a month ago. I was hunting Caoimhe through some long grass and stopping her every now and then to send her out for a retrieve. She was doing pretty well and making a nice tidy job of it so I was pleased with her. After about 15 minutes I was walking her back to the car and a woman with two Daschunds stopped me and said 'I saw you training the dog' and I said 'oh yes' and she said 'yes, looks like you still have a lot of work to do' ph34r :lol2: I then asked her if she trained gundogs herself to which she replied she never had :005:

I had that said to me one day too... different situation though. I had only had Normy about 4-5 months and was walking her down a narrow country lane (on lead obviously) that had banks and hedges either side... when 2 'ladies who jog' came towards me. One of them had a cocker that was off lead and pottering all over the road - my heart sank as it was a classic worst possibly dog to dog meeting for Normy. I put her in a sit sideways on and stood between her and the loose cocker and as predicted I got a 'don't worry mine's fine' and she didn't pay any attention to me saying 'mine isn't...' ::). The cocker came straight up to Normy and stuck it's nose in Normy's face :dunno: :dunno:. By this point she was shaking and then obviously started her big dog barking and growling at the cocker. The woman rushed over furiously glaring at me and grabbed her dog. I started to say 'I did say she wasn't ok, she's a rescue and she's not good meeting dogs that are off lead when she's on lead...' but before I could get anywhere I got a full on 'Well I can tell you now you have A LOT of work to do with that dog'. I was a little gobsmacked as you can imagine! If Normy hadn't been so stressed out and making such a racket, I'd have probably pointed out that I was fully aware I had a lot of work to do with her but that I did actually have her under control on lead in a public place and normal people don't let their dogs run all over the road and most sensible dog owners don't let their dogs go up to other dogs that are on lead - particularly when they've been advised it's not a good idea.... but my voice wasn't loud enough :lol:

U should punch him in the face and if he asks why say 'well you'll NEVER give bad advice again will you?'  :005: only joking I would never encourage violence against a dumb animal!  ;)

I would really love to do that, and knock that silly moustache right off his face! :005:

I wonder what "advice" he would given if Duggie had been in ankle-gnash mode?! :lol2:

I'm enjoying the mental picture of you squirting him in the face with a water bottle. Water dripping off his mustache. If hauled up on charges, you could say, 'Oh, I thought he was overheated and in danger of stroke. First aid, really.'
