How much Pro Plan Puppy to feed ?

I was wondering if anyone else is feeding their puppy Pro Plan?

Its what Rupert was on when we got him from the breeder and hes been doing well on it so we have decided not to change.

The only thing is the table on the back for how much you should feed them is a bit confusing 

We have been giving 120g plus he has extra fruit/vegetables and at 13weeks hes just under 6kg. The vets been happy with his weight and he looks fine but I just wondered if anyone else using Pro Plan has any advice?

According to their website, a puppy at MATURITY.....weighing 9-22.5kgs, should be on approx 168 - 224grms at 4-5 months old.

Ebony is on Pro plan and at 13 weeks she was on about 150g which I divided into 4 meals. She went down to 3 meals at 16 weeks. I found though that although she was on the same amount it was taking her ages to eat it all and in the end added 1/8 of puppy naturediet to the kibble and reduced the kibble to 130g. Obviously you will need to use some judgement with Rupert as to whether he needs more or less as these are guidelines and if your vet is happy then the proportions seem ok.

The back of my packet seems to differ from the website on the bag its 4-5 months 125-250g for dog of mauture weight 10-25kg 

A quick calculation I worked out was that if the mature weight was 14kg avg.based on the fact that my adult cockers have been between 12.5 and 15kg.then proportionally at 4-5 months it should be 175g!  At 13 weeks she was 6kg. Hope that helps.

thats really helpful I was struggling with the maths!

Rupert eats his food at such a rate he often gives himself hiccups 

I might try feeding him a little more and see how he gets on
