I know exactly what you mean when you talk about connection. Morgan  died after a very short illness with cancer on Dec 13th of last year, and we know that when we see his breeder, that he's still around in his nieces and nephews that we see.

Let us know how you get on tomorrow  ;)

I think that when our doglets pass, they send us what will help heal our hearts.  Call it fate, but I think perhaps that's what your boys have done by giving you this dilemma.

Go with your heart, you won't go wrong  ;)

Mummy loves her angels - but they're not angels all the time - They love to chew and charge about - but mummy doesn't mind

The connection says it all for me, it's that gut instinct thing isn't it  ;)

Look forward to some pictures of whichever lucky pup comes in to your lives

One of the things I think you must decide is when you want a puppy. The first puppy is on the ground and ready to go; the other, it doesn't sound like it is known for sure if the bitch is even pregnant, in which case you could be waiting up to a year for another breeding (if the breeder does one) Also it is not known yet how many puppies there would be, and unfortunately, there can be survival issues early on.

If you are willing to wait, in case this mating didn't take; then yes, we often wait for puppies of certain breeding.

Other than it seeming to you that there were a lot of dogs at the first breeders, were there any other issues that you were not comfortable with? I do have to say that a couple of my dogs came from conditions that were; shall we say less than ideal; but have turned out to be wonderful dogs. It all depends on your comfort level.  ;)
