Vacines and reactions

A month ago Mollie had her booster injection, on the way home she started being sick and then lay down and wouldn't move, I rang the vets and they weren't very helpful, said that she just probably got over excited.

Yesterday, I took Pippa for her booster injection, she was fine yesterday. Today got up fine, then went out to our socialisation classes, which they both thoroughly enjoyed. Got home and Pippa has been sick seven times in about 2 hours. She is very clingy and is just lying on the sofa, wimpering. She doesn't seem dehydrated so I haven't rung the vets as it is the weekend and they are closed. I know it could just be something she might of eaten while out, but because she had her booster yesterday and doesn't usually suffer from tummy upsets, I am not sure if it could be linked.

I have checked both dogs vacination certifcates, they have both had different makes, Mollies was, Vanguard and Pippas is Canigen. I have tried to do some research on reaction against the vacines, but can't find that much info.

Has anyone had any reactions to vacines and if so what? Does anyone get there dogs titre tested instead? I don't want to put my dogs in danger of getting these diseases, just feel maybe they can be overdosed with the vacine if they still have enough antibodies in their system.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

i dont know about the jab causing sickness but someone i go walking with is convinced that her dogs vacine has caused itching. Her dog had its annual jab a month ago and has been really itchy ever since. Ear paws and belly. Shes booked to go to a talk about the problems with annual vacines and the affects of it. There are alternative homopathic versions you can use but I dont know how affective they are.

My Jack Russell collapsed after her second puppy vacs, went into laboured breathing, was floppy and had no colour in her gums - she stayed overnight at the vets for obs, but was fine the next day 
She has since be vacinated for her first boosters with no problem

There are all sorts of reactions they can get from vaccines, including lethargy, vomiting, and itching (among many  )

You can get some of the homeopathic remedy Rhus Tox, it is very helpful for mild to moderate vaccine reactions

We get Ben titre tested - there are some really good threads on here already about innoculations and different options.  A search should give you some interesting stuff! If you want to know more about titre testing and how we have gone about it let me know
