Puppy ate poo - she looks ill...

What to do? My puppy has been eating her own poo during the night...  
I understand its not so unusual, but the strange thing is that she seems a bit unwell today. She threw up in the morning (and it was stinking of...  
she did not want her breakfast, and she has been more sleepy than usual, she was not as over-excited to see us and jumping as she normally does... And, she is a little bit red around the eyes. Did not want lunch either, just a tiny tiny bit. (She normally eats quite well.)

By the way, i brought her to work today for the first time, she is sleeping in her cage in my office. (dont think that is influencing her though, as she threw up before we left in the morning.)

Should I call the veterinary?

Some dogs eat that much poo it makes them sick!

There seem to be quite a few sickness viruses about in dogs at the moment

Has she only just started this and if so have you changed her food? Sometimes they do this if their food is too rich and not all the nutrients are absorbed by the body,this makes it apparently attractive to them

As a precaution I would give the vet a ring for advice and try and entice her with bland chicken and rice.

Also you want to prevent this becoming habit forming 

Hopefully she will recover soon.
