18-03-10 Kachina is our lovely ex-breeding 4 year old cocker. She honestly is such a darling and will make someone's house hold a very special place to be in. Her tail has not yet stopped wagging since being here in rescue. Kachina came to us along side her very best friend Kavita the lab.  She has spent her life alongside Kavita and has gained a lot of trust in her and does take the lead from her a lot.  We feel Kachina would love to live along side another dog that she can form a strong bond with and spend the rest of her life with!
 
 PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home ex-breeding dogs where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company.  They get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up.
 
 This dog is at the main rescue centre in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.

 Please read our adoption procedures before applying and complete the Adoption Form. You will be contacted within 24 hours. If successful you will be home checked and you and all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the new dog. All our dogs are micro-chipped, inoculated and spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. If you are adopting a puppy you will need to provide details of training classes in your area. We ask for a minimum adoption fee of £160 for dogs at the centre.

Hasn't anyone got anything to say about poor little Kachina? She's been here for ages. I'm really touched by her bond with her Lab-buddy.  My first cocker Binnie spent her entire life with our retriever Sonner and he was her moon, her stars, her everything.  It's wonderful to see this kind of friendship and so sad to think that eventually these two will probably have to go to separate homes and never see each other again.

I was touched by her story too-   they are a lovely couple of dogs    and it would be so nice if they could stay together  I have my fingers crossed that they can find their forever home soon
