HI Chris and welcome to COL  ;)

I'm Sandra and am owned by Coda who is an orange roan show type girlie. I'm afraid I don't have enough experience to give you advice but their are plenty of wise folk on hear who will be along soon to help.

A foxowl usher cock er? I am absolutely intrigued as I've never heard of this though I am very new to the world of cockers as Coda is my first.

Would love to see some photos of the lovely Jake and I should warn you that photos are compulsory on COL :005: :005:

HELLand welcome. We have a 12 month old working strain cocker. She had issues when we first used to leave her. I would say to build up gradually and fill a kong full of interesting treats when you leave him.

As for pulling on the lead we have tried everything and she is really bad. Must crack it in the new year.

Welcome to the site. Cant wait to see some pictures of your pupster.
