I know them as Burrs, and they are all coming back covered in them and sticky weed! >:D

Smudge likes to eat the leaves of the plant (when he can!!!) Think it is the same stuff (cleavers) that sticks to everything,especially hands - how he could want that in his mouth goodness knows - though it beats cat poo I guess. Sure I read too that some dog food manufacturers have it amonst their ingredients for medicinal properties

goose grass, sticky buds, bobby buttons .. aka cleavers ... :D
Hazels leg feathering is currently the animal world equivalent of the soft side of velcro and these little blighters are super attracted to her!

She (and the other 2) also eat the plant, and she will sit and pick them out of her coat to eat.  It does concern me that she feels the need to eat something with antiseptic / anti-inflammatory property .. but perhaps they just taste nice!!
