Ruby was at the vets today
« on: August 08, 2012, 06:59:13 PM »
We were at the vets on June 1st as Ruby had an inflammed ear,a weeks dose of canaural and all was well.

Roll on to the past few days and she was head shaking again so we thought she had a problem with the same ear but now it's the other one that is slightly sore looking deep inside so we have canaural again.

#The thing that is puzzling me is Ruby had what felt like a lump on the side of her neck thinking it was something stuck to her i scratched at it and it bled  ph34r but over the past two days the little lumps have spread she now has around 7.Some of them feel slightly scabby and after the vet shaved her neck we could see they were red.
I wouldn't have thought a "cluster" of flea bites made sense plus she is advocated so we don't really know what it is  but Sinead thought it could be allergy based and has given her anti-b's as the lumps are inflammed.
I'm worried the sore ears and the lumps are connected and she is developing some sort of allergy  :-\
She was boostered a few months ago and it's worrying me.

They sure know how to worry us don't they.
People laugh at me because I'm different, but I laugh at them because they are all the same.

They do know how to worry us Toni.  I really hope it's only something easily treatable and not an allergy.  Hope Ruby feels lots more comfortable very soon.   :luv: :luv:  Keep us posted. xx
