How on earth

do you put cream on a grumpy dogs mouth. Poor Ozzie has a lipfold infection. We can wash it ok with hibiscrub and dry it then we have to put some ointment on. It must sting like mad and she's not happy. Had to count my fingers this morning after applying it.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
