Oh sweetheart, it is 9 years ago today that I got the worst news ever from our lovely vet that he couldn't make you better and we had to help you on your journey to the Bridge. We tried so hard to make you better and I know you tried so hard to get better, but it was something neither of us could do. I can see you so clearly and I so wish I could cuddle you again. I know your big cocker brothers, Dylan & Rumpole, are looking after you at the Bridge and that you are alright. I know there is lots of sunshine, lots of soft grass, marrowbone biscuits galore and lots of other cockers to play with, it is just that we miss you so much.
Be a good little girl sweetheart, just as you always were a good little girl, the bestest little cocker ever, as we used to tell you you were. Enjoy the sunshine, the soft grass, the marrowbone biscuits and playing with all the cockers, and remember that one day me and daddy will be with you again and we will never be apart again ever.
