After 9 months, I have just about exhausted the v expensive bottle of stuff I got from the vet when Alfie had a build up of smelly wax in his ears some time ago. Alfie is a swimmer and jumps in the river nearly everyday so his ears are consistently wet/damp. Therefore, I clean them every couple of weeks just to be on the safe side. I squirt this stuff in his ears, massage for a minute or so, and clean any resulting gunk off with cotton wool. The awful chemically smell remains for a couple of days. I would like to find something to use that is not a cocktail of chemicals but something more natural, if such a thing exists, to use as a part of his grooming regime. Does anybody have a product they can recommend?
