Many of us have used this site to help us choose which food to feed,

http://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk

It has plenty of information and users scores , it's not always easy to find a food that fits with your pup straight away, don't be surprised if you try 3 or 4 brands before you find the right one.

All dogs are different but I'm sure Chester will be happy with his food soon.

Thank you everyone for your information and ideas was particularly interested in reading the dogs dinner extract about changing a puppy over to raw feeding,  i realise now that i will be better off feeding wet or kibble so am looking into a good quality make to change to

If you are going to try wet, you may want to give Naturediet puppy a go, that has ground bone in it. If you phone them up, they will probably send you a sample or two  ;) I gave this to one of my pups some time ago and it really did the trick, sold in  pet shops where you can buy them singularly to save the expense of whole boxes until you are sure, or online. There are of course lots, but just mentioning one that worked for us. Be aware  that the amounts they advise feeding are quite high, because it is wet food, you have to feed considerably more than kibble. Hope you get it sorted soon
