Home alone (me!!)

I had a gig yesterday afternoon at a venue that is notoriously difficult to get to if it snows. (Google “A38/A380 Haldon Hill, snow” and you’ll get the idea!) Just in case I ended up stuck up there I decided it would be best for Archie to go to my Mum’s so I wouldn’t be worrying about him. After I dropped him off a blizzard descended and the venue was cut off so the gig was hastily moved to my local village pub - phew. Only now Archie is trapped at Mum’s. She can’t get out and he had to have a sleepover. Still can’t get there today although it might be possible this afternoon. The house is REALLY quiet. It’s horrible. I bet he’s having a great time with Jade though. I HATE snow!!!

Oops...yes saw the famous hill on telly - you are all safe and sound though even if your four legged pal has an extended sleep over, the main thing is to just let the weather ease up and snow move away.

OH was due travel down to Chard area and after speaking to them yesterday decided to leave it a couple of days, seem they were snowed in too.

Just wondering how you coped on your own ?

At the beginning of Feb. I had 3 very strange days on my own. It was the first time in 19 years I had spent a night at home completely on my own without my son ( now at Uni) or OH or for past 9years Darwin   I had managed to seriously injure my left hand and OH was off to the US on business and we realised I wouldn't be able to managed Darwin, so he spent a few days in kennels.
