Is she clever .....
« on: January 31, 2007, 01:35:59 PM »

Or am I fooling myself?

Over the last few evenings, I've been making myself and OH a nice cuppa to wind down with, (dieting, so wine's a no no).

Whilst we're drinking it, Indy goes off to her toy box and comes back with her cup, it's a plastic one from a broken thermos, which she claimed.  ph34r

The first couple of times I didn't think anything of it, but she only gets it when we're having our cuppa, is she clever, or am I being daft?  :shades:

Last night she was going crazy, scrabbling at the bottom of the sofa, which is a recliner, when I reclined it to see what she wanted, her cup was underneath!  :luv:

I hope you will give her a saucer too.

Does she drink with her little pinkie raised? :005:

She does sound clever, though to be honest I doubt we can be sure what her motivation is!

A cuppa for the dog - in my living room - cocker dribbles everywhere - are you lot crazy?

Maybe it's time to let her know she's not human.  :'(

Nooooooo ................... I can't do it, not with that little face and those eyes looking at me in disbelief.  :luv:

What a clever girl!  ;)

The other day Poppy met a border collie while we were out. The collie was doing what collie's do (pretending Poppy was a sheep), getting down on the grown for a few seconds before chasing her. The collie did this for a few minutes while I was talking to her mum, then to our amazment Poppy got down on the ground and started copying the collie - it did make us laugh!  :005:
