Help needed about my bitches seasons!
« on: July 18, 2007, 10:07:49 AM »
Hi Wispa had her first last june(with discharge) then went into a phantom that lasted a few months (all she was was a little bit swollen with no mood change), I was then going to get her spayed in december & decided to get her groomed before she was spayed-but a few days after her groom she was swollen again with no discharge and this lasted around two weeks, she is now very swollen again and has been for about two weeks again with no discharge(I keep a very close eye on her-she isn't cleaning herself and there is definatley no discharge!) & no mood changes,  so is she in season and is it common for them to have no(or very very very little) discharge?
Thanks, Claire

Its not quite as common, but yes, some bitches have very little or no discharge. There is also something called "silent heat" where they give no signs at all! It's nothing to be worried about, just means you have to pay close attention to know when she's in season.  :shades:
