HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISTY - OUR GORGEOUS GIRLCan't believe it, our princess was one on Saturday (1st September) - where has the time gone
Here she is looking very grown up on her 1st birthday
Without going on about how wonderful she is too much
we really couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous dog. She has the sweetest nature, is so gentle and more loving than I could have every imagined
I can honestly say, hand on heart, she hasn't caused us a minute's trouble - no puppy mess, tearing things up etc etc., she has just been an absolute joy. I think if we had got her first and then Scooby had come along, we would have had a shock
not that he was a bad puppy, just a normal one, whereas Misty is unusually placid and extremely well behaved. We never have to reprimand her for anything and she never steps out of line....... she's just an angel
The only negative thing I can say about her is that she doesn't stop yapping when out in public, which does drive us a bit barmy..... but, hey, she can't be that perfect.... can she???
Anyway, she had a lovely day - pressies in the morning and a long walk/swim in the afternoon (hubby thinks I'm crackers!!).
But to put a dampner on things, unfortunately she is having an operation on Thursday to remove a lump from her back. I noticed it the other day when stroking her, it's under the skin but the vet doesn't know whether it's a growth or a cist so we're going to have it removed for analysis to be on the safe side. So while she's under they will spey her as well so she doesn't have to have two operations
I'm positive it's nothing to worry about though because Scooby had a growth removed from his ear a couple of months ago and it turned out to be harmless so, fingers crossed
