weeing &pooing machine..step backwards!
« on: September 12, 2007, 09:41:36 AM »
hi everyone, was looking for some advice as to whether when you think they are doing so well with the toilet training it suddenly goes out the window >:(Buddy's been here for nearly 2 weeks now and his toilet training was going great...until today >:D.he's crated at night and has always been dry in the morning and 1st thing he always goes out for a wee and poo.this morning he went out for his usual wee then turned into the stone monster hoovering every stone up he could find so we took him inside where he promptly pooed on the livingroom carpet so realising it was our fault for maybe not noticing the signs he wanted to go we popped him back out into garden,he did nothing then once back into the house we caught him mid stream once again on the carpet.twice this morning he has done full wees without showing any signs that he wanted to go >:D.i feel this morning that he is going backwards instead of forwards! he's 14 1/2 weeks old...do you think he is just being a typical puppy at the moment as i'm not sure why he has suddenly started this....he's been great from day one on the toileting ..until today that is!.as it's rainy here today and quite muddy in the garden i have put his towel on the carpet which he would normally lie on with his dirty paws but today he is more interested in "digging" it up :005:he's fast asleep at the moment so taking advantage of nipping on the computer as i think i'll have to watch him like a hawk the rest of the day when he wakes up :005:

Ah  ;) It's bound to happen I suppose, good days and bad days. Even children have accidents when they have been wearing growed up pants     I must be honest it has not rained since we bought Tilly home,I have been wondering wether she will like the rain when it comes ? At least we have had a good start to toilet training,so we must be grateful for small mercies   :shades:

must be something in the air - my Hamish has had a pee and a poo on the conservatory floor this morning and I have to watch him like a hawk cos he keeps sniffing!

We went days with nothing at all before that day and also for days after so think he was just testing us  :D

Alfie is the same, most days he tells us when he needs to go other times with no warning he just lets go and there is no stopping him when he is in full flow  :005: ! I would just keep doing what you have been already he'll prob be back to normal tomorrow  :D
