when a bad day gets worse
« on: October 23, 2007, 07:59:57 AM »
Its my Nans funeral today...a day I have been dreading for a few years....

I've just taken the groovy gang to the park...and just to help me along Aidee found something wonderful  horrendous to roll in ph34r >:D >:(

WHY DO THEY DO THAT ph34r >:(  so he is now bathed and doing the wall of death in protest!!

My turn methinks ::) :005:

Zen Dog...he knows not where he is going, for the ocean will decide. Its not the destination....its the glory of the ride.

Well done Aidee for taking your mum's mind off today  ;)  :luv: :luv: :luv: (and I'm sure your Nan put him up to this - she looks as if she had a great sense of humour  :luv: :005: )

Hugs to you today, it's never easy.  Your Nan was a wonderful lady and in amongst the feelings of loss and sadness I'm sure you will remember the many many happy times you shared.

God Bless Nan

xx

Will be thinking of you today - hope it is not as bad as you fear  :-\  Funerals are always sad but hopefully after the ceremony you will be able to share some happy memories of your Nan with other people who knew her  :luv:

And I am sure Aidee was only trying to cheer you up by rolling in something to make him smell extra snoggable  ::)

I hope today goes as well as can be expected. Remeber funerals are for remembering the person as they were and you have loads of nice memories of your nan.  :-*

Aidee is only doing that to make you laugh and distract you. Something your Nan would have wanted to do today (make you laugh, that is -not roll in something unmentionable  ph34r ).

Today is the day where you realise how much this lady has enriched your life and helped you to make you the person you are. How much poorer your life would have been without her.  Yes it is a sad and potentially stressful occasion. Remember though, we shed tears for ourselves, not the person who has died. She is fine now, strong, happy and will be looking out for you for the rest of your life.

Whatever today brings, ensure that you make some good memories
