do puppies fight

we are looking after Lolas sister for the weekend and because i am new to the 2 doggy situation i wanted to know if puppies as young as 10 weeks fight  they really do go at it ...teeth bared...low growls..snapping and there posture is very stiff
so are they just play fighting or are they really fighting
i finding it difficult to tell the difference...even with Biba and Lola they go quite frantic with teeth showing ...any tips has to what to look for

I'm not sure really, Callie and Maddie fight teeth out and ear grabbing etc but once one is on the ground on their back they back of and off their own ear, it's very noisy but totally harmless. They are quite fluid though and not stiff at all...

I would be guided by the other dogs reaction tbh - dogs are far better at reading doggy language than we are, so you should be able to tell 

If one of the pups takes things too far, then the other pup will stop and back away, maybe yelp and the play will end    Similarly, an adult dog will usually put a pup in it's place if it goes "too far", but will tolerate very boisterous play from puppies

thanks for the advise....from watching them they are fighting  what starts off as a play fight quickly escalates to a fight with Lola being the one to continue it even if gracie her sister yelps she wont walk away  thank god ive only got them together until monday
and i can see why people advise not to get siblings
