It could be due to the past few weeks upset of his routine. Has he been fed extra 'treats' over Christmas that might have upset him a little do you think? It could also be that he is calming down a little as he is growing up

.
Is he still as bouncy as he used to be when out on walks or is he sleepy all the time? My eight year old is quite capable of chilling out and being incredibly laid back during the times in between walks, especially during this cold wet spell, but as soon as I make a move towards her lead she becomes a whirling dervish

.
Fern gets clingy and 'squeaky' if she is not feeling well. it is usually when I haven't been able to get out and walk her and she gets a wee bit constipated. A good long walk sorts her out.
I would be a bit concerned about him crying

. There
is probably a reason for this that you are not yet aware of. I would keep a close eye on him and if he is still more lethargic than you are comfortable with in a week, I would pop him to the vets for a check over to put your mind at rest. Do keep us posted as to how you get on
