sheba missing you
« on: January 19, 2008, 12:35:05 AM »
2 days ago my 17 year old border collie was put to sleep
she had fell over and couldn't get up she also had kidney problems .  my other half rushed her to our vets, at first steriods were going to be given.
i was at work some 30 mins away.  when i got th phone call i decided that the kindest thing was to let her go .
i rushed from work driving like a maniac and managed to get there just as she went to sleep .
bless.
i rescued her when she was 6 months she was playing with the traffic outside a night club i was working and couldn't put her in the lost kennels to goto the pound i took her home.
sheba was the easiest dog inthe world to train i taught her to do back flips and to hide by putting her paws over her eyes as well as the usual stuff.
i miss her like crazy she knew when i was sad when i was happy and if i went away on holiday she would be so excited to see me.
i have a connection with her and i am so sad she has gone .
every one says 17 is a good age for a dog, but it doesn't help.

i miss you so much but you are at peace
love you for ever xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
love from fuse and lisa and now adding little sox
