mistaken for an american cocker
« on: February 14, 2008, 05:44:35 PM »
We took Remy to town today to get her use to the unfamiliar sounds and sites.  One bloke approached and asked if she was an American cocker, I said i didn't think so - but he kept on saying are you shore she looks gorgeous and that cockers are very nice dogs etc.  I had to google American cocker as soon as we got back home, just to make sure as i really hadn't  a clue in the differences. I'm convinced she's not comparing pictures of the two types. I'm also pretty glad really OMG all that extra hair  :005:

Mind you at least he was a lot closer than the many people who thought she was a puppy    :shades:   Mind you with all the attention she got anyone would have thought she was a puppy.  :005:

A lady in the vets today thought Elmo was a springer ::) If it wasnt bad enough but she has a black show cocker herself :o

Then a lady commented all cockers were disobedient as she had owned one and they were "just like that" because Elmo was trying to get out the vets door in excitement....i bit her head off ph34r
