Mind, can't really comment..... Honey found an intruder in the stream this morning.... spent ages building up the courage to sniff it... approached it from all angles to make sure it wasn't a threat... she must have taken at least 5 minutes just checking this intruder out, to make sure it was safe....

The identity of the intruder?? A stone just sticking out above the water level....  ::)

At least the tortoise moves, so there is an element of threat!!!!  :005:

Our tortoise has also woken up,our pup had the same reaction, what,s this lets hide. The tortoise is very used to dogs and used to sleep under our newfie,s fur when he was a bit chilly so he headed for the pup, now that was funny!!  however the puppy has now added salad to her diet rocket, tomatoes, dandelion leaves etc so is happy to sit on the other side of the plate at food time but runs as soon has he moves.

They are so funny, Indie was in the garden barking and doing her best scarey impression, finally realised what it was that was scaring her and it was a birds feather down the side of the house.   Thought we had burglars.   Dread to think what she would be like if we had a tortoise and it moved! :005:

Maybe she has been watching too many war movies and thinks it's an armour plated tank. I'm sure she's just doing some reconnaissance while she works out her strategy or attack and conquer...

Its the same with Phoebe!
Just this morning she was up at the window barking and growling at a rottweiler but as soon as it looked at her she ran away!
She pretends to be tough but runs away at the first sight of trouble!

Aw  :luv:

Ozzy once found a snail in the garden - he pranced right up to it and immediatly whacked it one with a paw.  ph34r
