Yes, this would be really useful for me too.  We're picking up our 10 week old puppy on Monday and he's getting his last injection next week sometime, and would also like to find some puppy classes to go to in the Bolton area.   I will do some research and get back to you if I hear anything.  I might start phoning round some vets- we had a rottweiller from a pup a few years ago, and my vet then used to run puppy socialisng classes.  Will keep you posted, and please let me know if you hear anything.  Thanks

Update- I've just registered our puppy with Queen's Park vets on Chorley new road in Bolton, and asked about puppy classes - they said that when we bring Archie down for his second injection and microchipping they will give us a puppy pack which includes a free puppy class session and information about future ones running - so not sure if this is exclusive to this vets or whether other surgeries run there own or it's a generic one that all vets tap into - hoope this helps

Hi

I'll keep you posted on what I manage to find out.  We had a rottweiller from a pup a few years ago, and we took her to puppy party classes and I found them completely invaluable, they made a huge difference to her social skills and tolerance of other dogs.  Definitely the way forward.  We live just round the corner from Moss Bank Park which will probably be our local haunt, and with the amount of dogs there we'd be snookered if Archie didn't get on with them.  I'll get on the case and keep you updated!! ;)

Thank you, we have registered at Pennine vets in Harwood, my hairdresser uses the same vet as you, he said they are very good.
maybe see you in Moss bank park soon, we will be venturing that way at some point.
