Help with a chewing puppy

i think it would be worth you getting a puppy pen if you dont want to crate - just for a few months until he stops chewing at least - he will be able to play and have some space to move in without finding things to chew that he shouldnt be chewing - and would definitly be worth having when he goes on his hols

Hi , i have Dennis 8 month , hes recently started to chew too. I try not to  leave anything at his level that he cant have ( not easy with 4 young children but they are learning  ) When i go out i leave him in the kitchen with a baby gate to keep him in . He has chewed some of my kitchen wall  but i except that it is normal puppy behavouir and try to do things that distract him , hes usually had a good play before we leave him so he tiered and hes now left with a chew or filled kong and it seems to be working 

I do think a crate or puppy pen would be far better than a muzzle in my opinion
